Community Health Nursing (CHN) is an essential branch of nursing that focuses on providing care to individuals, families, and populations within a community setting. It involves a comprehensive approach to healthcare, emphasizing prevention, health promotion, and the management of chronic conditions. This paper explores the role of community health nurses globally and in Albania, their importance in the healthcare system, and the strategies they employ to enhance the well- being of communities. The integration of CHN into public health programs has been pivotal in improving health outcomes, reducing health disparities, and ensuring access to care for vulnerable populations. In Albania, CHN plays an essential role in addressing the health needs of rural and underserved areas, where healthcare access remains limited. This paper further discusses the development and improvements in the Albanian healthcare system and highlights the challenges and opportunities for community health nurses in the country.
