This article explores the impact of technology on the proliferation of fake news and its consequent effects on social, po- litical, and economic perspectives. With the rise of digital platforms and the democratization of information, fake news has become a pervasive issue in contemporary society. This article examines the underlying factors contributing to the spread of fake news, including the role of social media algorithms, echo chambers, and information manipulation. Moreover, it discusses the far- reaching consequences of fake news, such as erosion of trust, political polarization, and economic implications.
