Infection Prevention and Control Practices in Ophthalmology during COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused great panic across the globe because of its rapid spread across the globe causing excessive morbidity and mortality. Governments in different parts of the world are imposing various infection control practices in order to contain the spread. Healthcare providers are at high risk of transmission of disease because of indulgence in close patient care. Among these, ophthalmologists further have increased risk because of close proximities to the patient during examination.
