According to the last FAO report, fisheries and aquaculture remain important sources of food and nutrition for a global population expected to reach 9.7 billion by 2050 [1]. With a global production if 167.2 million tons/year (MT), the capture fishery represented 93.4 MT compared to an increased aquaculture generating 73.8 MT in 2014.
