Virtual Engineering Articles Open Access
Virtual engineering is defined as integrating geometric models and related engineering tools such as analysis, simulation, optimization, and decision making tools, etc., within a computer-generated environment that facilitates multidisciplinary collaborative product development. Virtual engineering is a user-centered process that provides a collaborative framework to integrate all of the design models, simulation results, test data. The role of Virtual Engineering in design, as seen from current developments, is quite immense and important specially in integrating diverse engineering. In particular, virtual engineering means that design and validation activities occur collaboratively in order to prove early product designs, support decision making. The impact factor (IF) or journal impact factor (JIF) of an academic journal is a scientometric index that reflects the yearly average number of citations that articles.
