Vanadate-dependent-peroxidases-high Impact Factor Journals
Vanadateâ€dependent peroxidases contain, in their active center, vanadate covalently attached to histidine in an overall trigonalâ€bipyramidal array. We describe here the synthesis and characterization of optically active amino alcohols and their vanadium(V) complexes, and that we show that the structural models of the active center thus obtained are also functional models for the sulfideâ€peroxidase activity of the enzyme in heterogeneous catalysis. High-impact journals are those considered to be highly influential in their respective fields. The impact factor of journal provides quantitative assessment tool for grading, evaluating, sorting and comparing journals of similar kind. It reflects the average number of citations to recent articles published in science and social science journals in a particular year or period, and is frequently used as a proxy for the relative importance of a journal within its field.
