Stress disorder is a result of exposure to traumatic events. Such events include sexual assault, warfare, serious injury, threats from imminent death. Diagnosis for it includes symptoms such as disturbing recurring flashbacks, avoidance of memories of the event, and hyperarousal and it usually continues for at least one month after the traumatic event. When people experience numerous traumatic events, this situation occurs. Sometimes it is very difficult to deal with the situation when the trauma is extreme.Scholarly peer review is the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected. Peer review requires a community of experts in a given (narrowly defined) field, who are qualified and able to perform reasonably impartial review.
