Structure Determination Open Access Journals

Structure determination is a procedure by which the three-dimensional atomic coordinates of a molecule or biomolecule are solved using an analytical technique. Many techniques are used in structure determination, most commonly X-ray crystallography, NMR spectroscopy, electron microscopy and molecular modelling. Structure determination of biological macromolecules using x-ray crystallography has been greatly improved in recent years through the development of a number of key technologies and better integration with sample preparation steps. This has enabled the crystallization of large numbers of proteins, including integral membrane proteins.

This information can be published in our peer reviewed journal with impact factors and are calculated using citations not only from research articles but also review articles (which tend to receive more citations), editorials, letters, meeting abstracts, short communications, and case reports. The inclusion of these publications provides the opportunity for editors and publishers to manipulate the ratio used to calculate the impact factor and try to increase their number rapidly. Impact factor plays a major role for the particular journal. Journal with higher impact factor is considered to be more important than other ones.
