Scholarly Peer-review Mass Communication Journals
Mass communication is one of the studies through which how the individual and entities relay information through mass media to large segments of the population at the same time. Some examples are like magazine, book publishing, newspaper, radio, television and films; these are the mediums which are used to spread information. Different types of communications are there like interpersonal communication or organizational communication and they differ from mass communication. They only focus on single source transmitting information to a large group of receivers. Mass communication is chiefly concerned with how the content of mass communication affects the behavior, attitude, opinion, or emotion of the person or people receiving the information. Scholarly peer review is the process of subjecting an author's scholarly work, research, or ideas to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field, before a paper describing this work is published in a journal. The work may be accepted, considered acceptable with revisions, or rejected. Peer review requires a community of experts in a given field, who are qualified and able to perform reasonably impartial review.
