Clinical Health informatics has apprehended the eye of clinical, administrative and public health leaders round the nation as they realize it’s prospective to unravel problems that have vexed these fields for many years. But these aren't the sole interested groups: The broader field of health it's also generated the eye of national policymakers and decision-makers across the political range. That rare convergence of interests has stemmed in several well-funded federal initiatives that have turned information technology and health informatics especially into one amongst the main pillars of the nation's identity. Under the Affordable Care Act, health informatics create and implement EHRs that help to arrange, secure and maintain important medical information, like confidential financial data, medical records and similar sensitive medical information. Their main purpose is to enhance the standard of healthcare on three levels: economic, administrative and clinical.
