Occupational Lung Diseases

Occupational lung diseases are a broad group of diagnoses caused by the inha- lation of dusts, chemicals, or proteins. “Pneumoconiosis” is the term used for the diseases associated with inhaling mineral dusts. The severity of the disease is related to the material inhaled and the intensity and duration of the exposure.
