Molecular Pharmacology Innovations

Molecular pharmacology investigates the molecular mode of action of drugs, among others using genetic and molecular biology methods, and in consequence, it is one of the most rapidly developing fields of pharmacology. We encourage submission of manuscripts that report significant advances on the molecular level in drug research but especially appreciate submissions which, in addition, follow up on the consequences of molecular changes on higher levels of organization. Molecular pharmacologists study the molecular study of pharmaceuticals and natural compounds that are used in the treatment of disease, and they also study the disease on a molecular basis with the aim of developing pharmacologically active agents which could be used to detect disease.
