Microalgae-scientific-journals

Microalgae form the viable biodiesel feedstock. They can be found in soils, ice, lakes, rivers, hot springs, and oceans, anywhere sunlight and water co occur. They have a simple cellular structure and are a diverse group of photosynthetic eukaryotes ranging from unicellular to multicellular forms. The oil yield from microalgae per hectare is more than some of the feedstocks used for the production of biodiesel. Almost 587,000 L of oil per hectare can be obtained from microalgae containing 30% oil by weight of dry biomass. In some of the microalgae species such as Botryococcus braunii and Schizochytrium sp., the biodiesel productivity could reach 121,104 kg/ha per year. The information can be published in our peer reviewed journal with impact factors and are calculated using citations not only from research articles but also review articles (which tend to receive more citations), editorials, letters, meeting abstracts, short communications, and case reports. The inclusion of these publications provides the opportunity for editors and publishers to manipulate the ratio used to calculate the impact factor and try to increase their number rapidly. Impact factor plays a major role for the particular journal. Journal with higher impact factor is considered to be more important than other ones.
