Management control describes the means by which the actions of individuals or groups within an organization are constrained to perform certain actions while avoiding other actions in an effort to achieve organizational goals.Controlling ensures order and discipline in an organization. Ensuring order and discipline is also one of the importance of control. A good control system facilitates coordination among the departments and employees. Controlling facilitates coordination by providing the unity of direction.Management control systems are the formal and informal structures put in place by a business that compare the goals and strategy of the organization against the actual outcomes. In other words, it measure how well the functions of a business and the business as a whole perform and meet objectives.
