Lemongrass

Cymbopogon, otherwise called lemongrass, spiked metal grass, plush heads, Cochin grass, Malabar grass, sleek heads or fever grass, is a variety of Asian, African, Australian, and tropical island plants in the grass family.Some species (especially Cymbopogon citratus) are generally developed as culinary and restorative herbs in light of their fragrance, looking like that of lemons (Citrus limon). The name cymbopogon gets from the Greek words kymbe and pogon "which imply that in many species, the shaggy spikelets venture from vessel formed spathes.
