Intelligent Robotics

Artificial intelligence (AI) is arguably the foremost exciting field in robotics. It's certainly the foremost controversial: Everybody agrees that a robot can add an production line , but there is no consensus on whether a robot can ever be intelligent. This would include the power to find out almost anything, the power to reason, the power to use language and therefore the ability to formulate original ideas. Robotics are nowhere near achieving this level of AI, but they need made tons of progress with more limited AI.  The program's director, we do not plan to do them at the very best level of consciousness. Just as physical robotic design may be a handy tool for understanding animal and human anatomy, AI research is beneficial for understanding how natural intelligence works. For some robotics, this insight is that the ultimate goal of designing robots. Others envision a world where we live side by side with intelligent machines and use a spread of lesser robots for manual labour, health care and communication.  Conceivably, people within the future could load their minds into a sturdy robot and live for thousands of years. They contain some level of computer virus that determines what, when and the way a robot does something.
