The Open Infectious Diseases Journal is an Open Access online journal, which publishes both original full-length and short research articles in all important areas of infectious diseases. It covers clinical, preclinical and experimental infectious diseases. research, discovery, development, and use of infectious disease therapies and interventions, including bacterial and fungal infections, viral infections (including HIV/AIDS and hepatitis), parasitological diseases, tuberculosis and other mycobacterial diseases. Articles on vaccines and devices, epidemiology, clinical diagnosis, treatment, and control of infectious diseases, drug-resistance, chronic infections, and tropical, emergent, pediatric, dermal and sexually-transmitted infectious diseases are also accepted.
