Entrepreneurship is the pursuit of opportunity beyond resources controlled. Merriam-Webster gives a definition that's closer to what most of us would probably offer the English learner: an entrepreneur is “a person who starts a business and is willing to risk loss in order to make money. The purpose of entrepreneurship is continuous improvement and innovation. Entrepreneurship is all about creating value. Entrepreneurs go and take a risk on an idea. An idea they think can bring change to the world and improve the status-quo.
