Eno1p

Eno1p, all the more ordinarily known as alpha-enolase, is a glycolytic protein communicated in many tissues, one of the isozymes of enolase. Each isoenzyme is a homodimer made out of 2 alpha, 2 gamma, or 2 beta subunits, and capacities as a glycolytic protein. Enolase, otherwise called phosphopyruvate hydratase, is a metalloenzyme answerable for the catalysis of the transformation of 2-phosphoglycerate (2-PG) to phosphoenolpyruvate (PEP), the ninth and penultimate advance of glycolysis. The concoction response catalyzed by enolase is: 2-phospho-D-glycerate phosphoenolpyruvate + H2O.
