Drug Safety is a companion checked on clinical diary covering pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance. It was set up in 1986 as Medical Toxicology, and was renamed Medical Toxicology and Adverse Drug Experience in 1987. It got its present name in 1990. Drug Safety companies have just begun to explore the research in Drug Safety. There are many companies, which develop the products in aquaculture, animal food production, plant biotechnology. Eventually Drug Safety companies focus on treating genetic diseases, improving plant products. Since, Drug Safety is an emerging field it has got its own challenges, which have to be overcome by Drug Safety companies, besides, the scientist doing research in it.
