DNA Open Access Articles
The new papers in DNA Repair published in Open Access. RNF8 promotes repair of high linear energy transfer of carbon-ion-induced DNA double-stranded breaks in human cells that are starved by serum. The molecule which contains the genetic information which is used in the development and functioning of the living organisms is known as DNA (Deoxy ribonucleic acid). It is the hereditary material. It is the double stranded macromolecule. Nearly every cell in a person’s body has the same DNA. Most DNA is located in the cell nucleus (where it is called nuclear DNA), but a small amount of DNA can also be found in the mitochondria (where it is called mitochondrial DNA or mtDNA).
