Damage Assessment Scientific Journals

Damage Assessment is a configuration of Survey123 for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Dashboards that can be used by field inspectors to conduct initial damage assessments immediately following an incident or natural disaster. It can also be used to monitor field assessments and determine whether damage costs exceed State or Federal declaration thresholds. The initial damage assessment can precede the Joint Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA) which is conducted with Federal, State and Local officials after a disaster declaration has been made. Damage Assessment is designed to collect and monitor damage to local structures including residential, commercial buildings and public facilities. An application used to monitor field assessments and determine whether damage costs exceed State or Federal declaration thresholds.
