Cropping system is defined as the Pattern of crops taken up for a given piece of land, or sequence in which the crops are cultivated on piece of land over a particular period of time and their interaction with farm resources and other farm enterprises. A cropping system refers to the type and sequence of crops grown and practices used for growing them. Other advantages include reduced fuel and labor requirements.
