Child –adolscent Health Outcomes
The adolescent years are critical for teens’ for now and future health. Good health helps adolescents to learn and grow. While adults are generally healthy, mental health, substance use, obesity, and risky sexual behaviors are common challenges for adolescents. These health issues can have long-term effects but they can often be prevented by having healthy communities and supportive relationships. Adolescent health, or youth health, is the range of approaches to preventing, detecting or treating young people's health and well being. The term adolescent and young people are often used interchangeably, as are the terms Adolescent Health and Youth Health. Main health issues are Injuries Unintentional injuries are the leading cause of death and disability among adolescents, Mental health, Violence, HIV/AIDS, and Other infectious diseases.
