Avionics Impact Factor
Avionics are the electronic systems used on aircraft, artificial satellites, and spacecraft, in short Avionic — the science of electronics when used in designing and making aircraft. Working in the aerospace engineering subspecialty field of avionics, avionics engineers design and develop aircraft and spacecraft avionic instrumentation. They also conduct research to address problems associated with flight safety systems, landing gear and electronic navigation systems. An AFCS is part of an aircraft's avionics - the electronic systems, equipment and devices used to control key systems of the plane and its flight. In addition to flight control systems, avionics include electronics for communications, navigation, collision avoidance and weather. The term Technologically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) is a modern term used to describe light aircraft with advanced equipment on boar specifically advanced avionics like GPS and glass panel displays.
