Adolescence Anxiety

Anxiety during adolescence typically centers on changes in the way the adolescent's body looks and feels, social acceptance, and conflicts about independence. When flooded with anxiety, adolescents may appear extremely shy. They may avoid their usual activities or refuse to engage in new experiences. “Many of these problems, particularly if they're brief and last for six months or less, or in boys, tend to get better” This might be the result of adolescent development, including maturation of the brain systems involved in social and emotional processing, and learning new cognitive and emotional skills. Anxiety disorders are caused by a combination of life events, heredity, temperament, and biochemical factors. In some ways, anxiety disorders are like allergies: We can identify the problem easily enough, but only through a careful evaluation can the causes and circumstances that cause anxiety disorders be identified and effectively treated as well as the underlying thinking and behaviors that are fueling the anxiety. Citations are important for a journal to get impact factor. Impact factor is a measure reflecting the average number of citations to recent articles published in the journal. The impact of the journal is influenced by impact factor, the journals with high impact factor are considered more important than those with lower ones. This information can be published in our peer reviewed journal with impact factors and are calculated using citations not only from research articles but also review articles (which tend to receive more citations), editorials, letters, meeting abstracts, short communications, and case reports.
