Author Guidelines

The Journal of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics invites researchers and scholars to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in biotechnology and bioinformatics. To ensure a smooth submission and publication process, authors are kindly requested to adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Manuscript Preparation:
- Title: Limit the title to 25 words or less, avoiding abbreviations. It should succinctly describe the contents of the paper.
- Author Information: Include complete names and affiliations of all authors, along with contact details of the corresponding author (Telephone, Fax, and E-mail address).
- Abstract: Provide a self-explanatory abstract of 300 words or less, summarizing the study's background, methods, results, and conclusions. Include 3-10 keywords and abbreviations after the abstract.
2. Manuscript Structure:
- Introduction: Clearly state the study's purpose, relevant literature, and the proposed approach or solution.
- Materials and Methods: Offer a comprehensive overview of the study design, detailing materials, participants, interventions, and analysis methods.
- Results: Present complete experiment details in the past tense for the authors' experiments and in the present tense for previously published findings.
- Discussion: Interpret results and provide speculation if needed. Avoid detailed interpretation in the Results section.
- Acknowledgment: Include acknowledgements for people, grants, funds, etc.
- References: Include only published or accepted manuscripts in the reference list. Provide at least one online link for each reference.
3. Manuscript Submission:
- Submit a cover letter with the manuscript.
- Ensure manuscript originality and not being under consideration elsewhere.
- All works published in the Journal of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics are under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License.
4. Special Features:
- Case Blog: Share short case studies with reader participation.
- Animations: Use this platform for posters or animated images/videos to communicate ideas effectively.

5. Plagiarism:
- Avoid plagiarism; proper citation is crucial.
- Figures and tables from other sources must be cited, and exact reproduction is discouraged.
