AIDT is a leading open-access journal dedicated to advancing research in infectious diseases and therapeutic strategies. Our mission is to promote scientific communication and disseminate high-quality research globally.

Scope and Article Types

AIDT publishes the following types of articles in key areas:

  • Infectious Diseases: Epidemiology, pathogenesis, and clinical management
  • Microbiology: Studies on viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites
  • Therapeutics: Novel treatments, drug development, and clinical trials
  • Public Health: Global health initiatives, outbreak investigations, and vaccine development
  • Emerging and Re-Emerging Diseases: Zoonotic infections, antibiotic resistance, and pandemic preparedness

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is a serious violation of academic integrity. Authors must ensure their work is original and properly attributed. Reproducing content verbatim, even with citations, is discouraged. Paraphrasing and synthesizing information with accurate references is encouraged.

Data Usage

Data, images, and figures must be cited properly. Direct reproductions from published sources should be avoided. Permission should be sought for any necessary material, with appropriate acknowledgment included.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

AIDT is an open-access journal, and a processing charge of USD 2019 is required upon manuscript acceptance. This fee covers:

  • Peer review
  • Typesetting and copyediting
  • Hosting on a secure open-access platform

No additional charges for submission, page length, or color figures. Refunds are not available after payment is processed.

Submission Requirements

Manuscripts should be submitted via our Online Submission Portal. Please ensure the following:

  • Title Page: Concise title, author names, affiliations, and corresponding author contact info
  • Abstract: 200-300 words summarizing the study
  • Keywords: 4-6 keywords for indexing
  • Main Text: Structured into Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion
  • References: Use Vancouver citation style
  • Figures & Tables: High-resolution files with descriptive legends

Formatting

  • Word format, double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font
  • Follow ICMJE research reporting guidelines

Ethical Considerations

  • Human and Animal Studies: Ethics approval and informed consent documentation required
  • Conflict of Interest: Declare any conflicts
  • Funding: List all funding sources

Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review. Initial feedback is expected within 3-4 weeks of submission.
