Biography
Maryam Batool is a dedicated researcher in the field of environmental chemistry with a focus on wastewater treatment and the development of innovative, eco-friendly materials. She holds an M.Phil. in Chemistry from the University of Sahiwal, Pakistan, where her research explored efficient photocatalytic degradation techniques for dye-contaminated water using composites. Maryam has published extensively on topics such as biosorbents, adsorption technologies, and biodegradable materials for environmental applications. Her work includes studies on pollutants such as dyes, heavy metals, and pathogens in water, aiming to contribute to sustainable solutions for water purification. She has collaborated with prominent scientists from Pakistan, the UK, and Iraq, and has received multiple academic awards, including a Gold Medal for her BS in Chemistry. Currently, she serves as a research assistant and continues to contribute to the advancement of environmental science through her research and publications. Maryam is also a peer reviewer for international journals in polymer and material sciences of different publishers including Taylor and Francis, ACS and Elsevier. In addition, she is currently doing professional diploma in Regulatory Affairs of Drugs & Medical Devices. Radex Education, USA.
