Total teaching and research experience: 39 years at doctorate, PG and UG levels in the areas of Pharmaceutics, Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Management at Jamia Hamdard, India and National University Oman.
Academic and Research Achievements
? Worked as chair/member of various academic and research committees for
more than 35 years
? Invited speaker at national and international forums. Research work has been
presented in various international conferences held in India, Oman and abroad
(Controlled Release Society CRS conference in Paris, FIP, Spain
SanDiego, Utah, The Netherlands, Scotland, Sydney, Boston, Hawaii, Miami
etc.)
? Established a school of research on Mucoadhesive drug delivery systems, a
novel and innovative form of delivery system through which drug formulations
have been found more effective in terms of providing relief and reducing
dosage.
? Research work has citations in the famous book of Bioadhesive Drug Delivery
Systems: Fundamentals, Novel approaches and Development edited by Edith
Mathiowitz, Marcel Dekker Series, New York, U.S.A. besides in high impact
journal publications.
? Worked on major research projects financed and supported by ICMR, UGC,
AICTE and MOHERI, Oman.
