Biography
Engr. Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah has over 35 years diverse experience, as a distinguished practitioner, teacher and researchers in Civil Engineering, Construction Management and Project Procurement & Contract Administration. As founder of multiple engineering institutions, he fosters education and capacity building of Engineers nationwide. He has a scholarly force, authored six books, and published 100+ research articles. His latest book on Project Procurement and Contract Administration is in the press. Currently, he serves as Professor/Vice Chancellor at Karakoram International University Gilgit since 2018, where he established the first ever Engineering and Technology Campus at KIU. He teaches project management, procurement management, project risk management and project monitoring & evaluation to the students of MS project Management. He remained Vice Chancellor City University Peshawar for 4 years and Director Projects at Allama Iqbal Open University for 15 years. A fellow of four prestigious national/international institutions, including IEP, he contributed significantly to the promotion of Engineering Education, research and practice. He has diverse qualification of BS Civil Engineering (Gold Medal), MPhil Eco, MS Envir. Design, MBA and Post Grad Diploma Comp Sc (Gold Medal).
